Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Drive and lead the innovation strategy for the organization
• Identify gaps in the market and develop new products or services
• Cultivate a culture of innovation within the company
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new ideas

Tasks:

• Conduct research and analysis on market trends and customer needs
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of innovation projects and initiatives
• Lead brainstorming sessions and ideation workshops to generate new ideas
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to pilot and test new concepts
• Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new innovations
• Prepare business cases and proposals for new projects
• Monitor and track the progress of innovation projects and initiatives
• Communicate updates and results to stakeholders and senior management
• Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the innovation team
• Attend industry conferences and events to stay informed about the latest trends and developments

Success Metrics

• Number of new products or services launched
• Rate of adoption of innovation within the organization
• Positive feedback from customers or clients on innovative solutions
• Increased revenue or market share attributed to innovation efforts

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 20+ years experience as innovation manager or researcher
• Knowledge of lean startup methodology
• Experience in moving technology projects from conception to commercialization
• Knowledge of product development process
• Experience managing cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership
