We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fortinet Firewall Architect and Deployment Specialist to lead and execute the design, implementation, and migration of advanced Fortinet network security solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with FortiGate firewalls, deploying on-premise solutions, and transitioning to cloud-based environments. You will play a crucial role in securing our network infrastructure, leading a team of engineers, and acting as a trusted advisor for clients.

Job Description:

• Solution Architecture:
  • Design and architect secure network solutions using Fortinet technologies, particularly the FortiGate 6000F series, for both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Develop comprehensive migration strategies to move from on-prem infrastructure to cloud, ensuring seamless transition with minimal downtime.
• Firewall Deployment:
  • Oversee and manage the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Fortinet firewalls and security solutions across global infrastructures.
  • Lead hands-on firewall configuration, policy creation, and integration with other security products (VPNs, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead a team of security engineers, providing technical direction, mentoring, and guidance throughout various project phases.
  • Ensure the team adheres to best practices, company policies, and security standards.
• Cloud Migration:
  • Execute and manage the migration of on-prem firewall solutions to cloud platforms, ensuring optimal network security architecture in the new environment.
  • Integrate Fortinet firewalls with cloud security tools and platforms to secure hybrid or fully cloud-based environments.
• Network Security Management:
  • Ensure network security architecture aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot security issues, performing vulnerability assessments and implementing remediation solutions.
• Collaboration & Consultation:
  • Work closely with IT teams, cloud architects, and third-party vendors to ensure the efficient and secure deployment of Fortinet firewalls.
  • Provide expertise and consultation to stakeholders on network security risks, industry trends, and future scalability.

Qualification:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • A master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in network security, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate. 
• Certifications:
  • Fortinet NSE 7
