The Lab Operations Associate plays a critical dual role at SPS—ensuring the Innovation Lab operates flawlessly day-to-day while actively enabling collaboration, experimentation, and innovation across academia, industry, startups, and the Science Park ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of facilities excellence and innovation enablement. You will be the backbone of a well-run, safe, and efficient workplace, and at the same time the face of the SPS Innovation Lab, hosting visitors, supporting innovation programs, and coordinating with external stakeholders. Job Description:
- Ensure the workplace is fully functional, clean, safe, and ready for daily operations.
- Coordinate office logistics, seating, meeting spaces, access control, and common areas.

- Build and manage collaborations with academia, including universities, research institutions, faculty, and student engagement programs.
- Build and manage collaborations with industry partners for joint innovation, pilots, demonstrations, and applied research.
- Enable and support startup engagement, including lab visits, early-stage collaboration, demos, and ecosystem networking.
- Design, launch, and manage innovation programs hosted within the lab, aligned with SPS strategic priorities.
- Lead talent pipeline initiatives, including internship programs operating from the lab, ensuring interns are productively engaged in innovation work.
- Coordinate innovation-related onboarding, engagement, and day-to-day support for interns and early-career talent working in the lab.
- Establish and lead Special Interest Groups (SIGs) focused on emerging and cutting-edge technologies such as AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, IoT, and related domains.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, talks, demos, workshops, and innovation events within the lab.
- Manage and keep updated the Innovation Lab web pages, digital content, and public-facing innovation information.
- Act as the coordination point between SPS leadership and external innovation stakeholders across academia, industry, startups, and the Science Park ecosystem.
- Track, document, and report innovation activities, partnerships, programs, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

Industrial Automation Solutions Consultant
The Industrial Automation Solutions Consultant will advise on system architecture, technology selection, and integration strategy for industrial automation and SCC-related projects. The role focuses on solution design, technical guidance, and stakeholder coordination.
