Job Description:

    • Providing software application support under the supervision of the Senior Engineer.
    • Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
    • Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
    • Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
    • Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
    • Establishing the root causes of application errors, and escalating serious concerns to the Senior Engineer.
    • Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
    • Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
    • Providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.

Job Qualification:

    • A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar.
    • Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer in a related field will be a plus.
    • Advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages, such as NodeJS or Angular.
    • Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
    • Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments and web-based clients.
    • Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
    • Ability to keep up with innovation in application design.
    • Exceptional communication skills.

NEPRA Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

    Tasks:

    • Conduct regular meetings with customers to review cybersecurity compliance.
    • Leverage IT and OT security tools from Dragos, Tenable, Microsoft, Fortinet, Cisco, and Trend Micro to ensure compliance
    • Document the attack surface and identify key stakeholders using SMAP.
    • Implement remediation plans based on gap analysis findings.
    • Review and improve existing security policies and controls.
    • Coordinate and schedule risk assessments and audits.
    • Develop training materials and conduct security awareness sessions.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership on compliance status and improvements.

    Success Metrics

    • Percentage of compliance achieved against industry standards.
    • Number of identified gaps remediated within a specified timeframe.
    • Frequency and effectiveness of risk and vulnerability assessments conducted.
    • Improvement in security posture as measured by incident response times and breach attempts.
    • Stakeholder satisfaction ratings from training and awareness sessions.
    • Reduction in the number of security incidents reported post-implementation of remediation plans.
    • Timeliness and accuracy of reports generated for executive leadership.
